Winter is definitely in full swing in Upstate NY. We’re having all kinds of winter weather warnings, below zero temps, and my toes are permanently cold.

In order to combat these winter blues, I’ve invested in a few pieces to make these frigid days a little more tolerable! 🙂

This outfit is great because it can be worn with so many other pieces. This white sweater from Express can be worn with black jeans, regular jeans, leggings, a skirt, really anything. It’s so warm and comfortable. I especially love that it’s a little baggy. I ordered this in a medium and it definitely looks baggy on me, and is long enough to cover my booty for leggings.

The jeans seen here are also from Express. I bought these a while back but wear them all the time with all different tops. I usually would prefer to wear leggings, but it’s so chilly outside that I felt like a full and more wind proof fabric would save me walking from the car to the office! I would definitely say these jeans are TTS.

I paired this outfit with a fun beanie from Express (once again) that is a few years old, but I linked a similar one here! I love having fun pompom beanies around to throw on to run to the store on a day  I need to was my hair, to have on hand for when I need to shovel my side walk and just wear in general! I sometimes catch myself wearing beanies around the house just to hide a bad hair day, LOL!

The earrings seen here were actually a Christmas gift from my sister and I think the fun pop of pink combined with the white sweater and black jeans is so cute! Pink is my favorite color, so whenever I have the chance to incorporate it in my outfits I take it!
