Living in upstate NY is hard on a girl if you don’t absolutely love the snow and cold, especially when February/March roll around. At this time of the year, I’m ready to put the Uggs away and find my sundresses and jean jackets.

I was browsing Amazon recently and came across a fun and versatile spring/summer dress that really caught my eye! I was originally looking for a baby shower dress that is pretty, casual, and comfortable, and when I put this dress on when I got it in the mail I knew I hit the jackpot .. hence why I have 3 already, LOL!

The first one I tried on was this pinkish red one, and I really love the color. When I ordered it I expected it to be more on the pink side, but it’s not a hot orangey-red, and not super pink either, so I love the perfect flirty shade that it is. One thing to note about the size, I would typically wear a medium, so that’s what I ordered and, although I could put it on, it didn’t quite fit (there is a difference people, LOL!). I could definitely wear the dress for now, but the sleeves were a little tight on me and the chest area was a little stretched. Since I am 6 months pregnant I ordered another color in a large to compare the two and I’m glad I did!

This floral green pattern was the one I ordered in a large and it definitely fit more loosly on me, but almost too loose right now. My baby shower is in another 2 months so I’m guessing it’ll fit better by then, so I’m going to hang onto it. I absolutely love the color and flower print on this dress! I am having a boy and thought a blue color dress would be a good idea, but the flower print adds such a fun feminine element, and this color didn’t disappoint! The sleeves were really loose on this one, I could probably get away with wearing it now, but the dress has an elastic band (another reason I thought it would be a great baby shower dress) and the band is a bit too big right now around the waist, which made the shoulders and chest fall down a little too low.

I made one more order since I wanted to see another print, so I got this light blue color and I absolutely love this one too. I’m not sure if they make a print I wouldn’t love, LOL! I ordered this one in a medium in hopes of wearing it post-pregnancy for the summertime since I have a few summer events to go to and I’m so excited to wear this one out! The dark blue and purple flower print is super pretty!

These dresses do button down most of the way, but then there is a slit below the knees so sitting and moving around shouldn’t be a problem. There is also a string detail in the front that you can tie up or leave hanging, whichever you prefer! I would definitely recommend buying your normal size, I am a short 5’1ish and didn’t find that they were too long on me, especially if you pair them with a block heel or wedges! They’re super super flattering in that they hang off of you and don’t cling to your skin. The material is comfortable and soft, not itchy at all!
